Douglas Hurst, CEO and President

Doug Hurst is the President and Chief Executive Officer of softRealty.com. Prior to joining softRealty.com, Doug founded and was the CEO of Transcend Capital, LP, a boutique Broker/Dealer specializing in developing and electronically executing niche derivative securities for other Broker/Dealers and institutional traders. In 1999, he joined ProTrader Securities, LP through acquisition and served as President, Chief Supervisory Officer and Managing Director. Doug served on the executive management team, which oversaw the development of its proprietary financial software and ProTrader's acquisition by Instinet for $150 million. Prior to joining ProTrader, Hurst co-founded and served as President of Capital Gains, Inc., a Broker/Dealer specializing in the active trading segment of the market.

Founder / CTO, David Carroll

David Carroll is the Founder and Chief Technology Officer of softRealty.com. Prior to starting softRealty.com, David was the Principal Architect at Innovative Architects and a Virtual Technology Consultant for Microsoft. David has 10+ years as a professional software architect and developer, specializing in designing and implementing various enterprise solutions. David's technology specialties include cross-browser warfare, AJAX head butting, Web UI hacking, MS SQL Server 2005, C# and all things .NET, XHTML/CSS/JavaScript, and a whole playground of technologies. David received a B.A. in Economics and International Relations from Oglethorpe University.
